At Windy Hills Farm, everything we do starts with a seed. We’re Jeffrey and Germaine Borg, founders of Windy Hills Farm and Choice Seedlings, based in Werombi, South West Sydney.

What began over 20 years ago as a trusted supplier of high-quality vegetable seedlings has grown into a full-scale farming operation, supplying fresh, retail-ready produce to supermarkets, restaurants, and wholesalers across Australia.

In 2012, after years of supplying seedlings to farmers across Australia, we saw an opportunity to forward integrate and take things further.

Building on the strong foundation of Choice Seedlings, we launched Windy Hills Farm, which is dedicated to growing crisp lettuces, asian greens, vibrant microherbs, fine leaves, edible flowers and petite vegetables for Sydney, QLD, South Australian and Victorian wholesalers and retail groups.

Although Choice Seedlings and Windy Hills Farm operate independently, they share common company values of quality, respect, long-term relationships and entrepreneurial spirit. The objective is to deliver quality produce with innovation, consistency and care. Conveniently located in Werombi, South West Sydney, Windy Hills Farm engages a community of growing partners to ensure consistent year round supply.

Sustainability isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of our everyday. The land sustains everything we do at Windy Hills Farm, so we’re committed to protecting it for the future.

We’re transitioning to craft paper and acetate film recyclable packaging. Leading this space in the way herbs and lettuce are packaged. This evolving space has become a focal part of our business and we continue to offer our brand to research paper to minimise plastics in our industry. We are a member of APCO and currently presenting our product for APCO review.

We take food safety seriously. We comply with HARPS and Freshcare and proudly offer suppliers transparency and accountability in our growing and sourcing of products.
