Balearic Oranges with Amaretto, Mint & Biscoff Cream

A simple, sun-soaked dessert inspired by the Balearic Islands. Sweet citrus oranges, a splash of amaretto, fresh mint and thick cream finished with crumbled Biscoff biscuits. Light, fragrant and perfect after lunch or dinner.

Shopping List

Small handful Fresh Mint leaves, roughly torn

4 Sweet Oranges, peeled and sliced into rounds

Pantry CHECK

2 tbsp Amaretto liqueur

1 cup Thick Cream

6–8 Biscoff biscuits, roughly crumbled

1 tbsp Honey (optional)

METHOD

  1. Prepare the oranges
    Peel oranges and slice into rounds or segments. Arrange neatly on a serving plate or shallow bowl.

  2. Add the flavour
    Drizzle the oranges with amaretto and a little honey if you like extra sweetness.

  3. Whip the cream
    Lightly whip the thick cream until soft and pillowy.

  4. Assemble
    Spoon cream over the oranges, scatter with torn mint leaves and finish with generous crumbles of Biscoff biscuits.

  5. Serve
    Serve immediately as a refreshing dessert or a light sweet finish after a meal.

The fresh mint brightens the citrus and balances the richness of the cream - simple ingredients, big flavour.
